Sustainable Agile Teams
Version: PA1
This article describes how agile teams can enable a sustainable way of working.
Truly innovative teams are treating sustainability as a first class citizen, and as a continuous checkpoint for their way of creating, designing and maintaining their product over time. In addition to functionality, security, scalability, and accessibility. We also need to design software for reuse, extended longevity of use and minimal computational and memory resource requirements.
Sustainability means taking a holistic perspective on social, environmental, and economic issues. Social: aiming at ending poverty, environmental: protecting the planet, economic: improving the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere (or people, planet, profit).
